Motorola Quench Overview
Motorola launched its latest mobile phone, the Quench, in Barcelona in February 2010, and promised that it will be available worldwide in the next two months.
The Quench is the company’s latest device to be run on Android operating system and is designed to make the phone an easier method of messaging, web browsing and downloading music. The inclusion of the Motoblur content delivery service that organises messages and merges contacts ensures that users are kept in the social loop.
The Quench is a touch screen phone, very sleek with a 3.1-inch high-resolution screen as well as the addition of Adobe Flash Lite that will make browsing the web a pleasurable experience. You can customise your home page with all your favourite functions.
The blend of Motoblur features makes messaging on the Quench quick and simple, as messages and news items are promptly available for browsing and/or responding.
The media player is innovatively connected to the internet and your social networks. Quench has a new style of media player that allows you to buy and instantly download music from an MP3 store and at the same time integrates third party applications such as SoundHound, GoTV and YouTube. The player has an FM radio as well as allowing you to watch videos.
The 5-megapixel camera comes with auto focus and LED flash, and clear calls are ensured by the Motorola Quench using dual microphones and noise cancellation technology.
If you lose your phone, it can be located from a secure personal information portal and if necessary, remotely erased.
