LG Pop Review
The LG Pop, while most notable for its small size and budget price, still manages to sneak in a few extra features and useful tools along the way. Among the smallest LG mobile phones available, the LG Pop still manages to support a 3 inch screen. A very slim unit, this piece of hardware is very portable, yet still very solid. At first glance, this phone seems nothing more than a basic touch screen phone with a focus on size and portability.
Upon initial inspection the first thing noticed by most is the how compact the LG Pop really is. With a face measuring less than 4 inches, the screen simply covers the face o the unit, and is clearly the central idea behind the device. This display responds well to touch, but is no replacement for a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s a small, inexpensive mobile phone with a large touch screen, and for those wanting nothing more, it’s an excellent choice simply for these merits alone.
With such a focus on the display size, there seems to be little focus on high data transfer rates, to support the web multimedia this device is supposed to deliver. In addition, it seems battery life has fallen by the wayside too, with just 200 minutes of talk time being made available on a single charge. The LG Pop is by no means a bad phone; however it simply falls short in a few basic areas that smart phones should excel in. Reviews of other new mobile phones may be necessary if you want additional features.
